| Self Description | | I'm confident in who I am, where I'm going, and what I want out of life. I have learned to plan carefully, and when that doesnt work, to throw it out the window and "just wing it!" :) I can dress up for a charity event or down for a campfire. I will ALWAYS root for the underdog and stand up for the person who can't stand up for him/herself.
I'm energetic and happy, often to the point of down-right perky..lol. I can also be settled and serious, depending on the situation. I always focus on the bright side of everything, and I've learned to appreciate the little things- like smiles from my kids and all the hugs I can get. I'm warm-hearted and kind to everyone I meet, yet I have a steel resolve and know how to stick to my convictions. I'm a hopeless romantic, in that I believe there is one special person out there for everyone, and yet I'm also a realist because I know I may not ever find him and I'm O.K. with that. I'm also honest to a fault, and my friends know they will be my friends until the day I die, and that they can always count on me to be there for them.
Being active and physically fit is important to me, and while I am over my ideal weight, I'm back into taking care of it and getting where I need to be- for all the right reasons, such as health and fitness.
All in all, after reading over this, I realize that I'm exactly where I want to be in life and loving every moment of it.
I know I'll never be wealthy as a teacher, but I'm independent and self-sufficient, and far "richer" than most people will ever understand. I don't need someone in my life, but it'd be nice to share it with great guy. |

He must be someone who loves jeans, enjoys laughing, holds hands without thinking about it, and simply enjoys spending time with someone special, whether its out and about or snuggling up on the couch. If he cooks, he gets bonus points! I'll be the "dish-doer!" :D
I believe in starting out as friends, sharing lots of coffee and conversation, and just taking my time and seeing where it goes from there. It's a fail-proof means of getting to know someone's character, which is my first priority.
If you hang out in bars, do drugs, or are looking for the next "thrill, " it's not going to work with me. I'm not going to be intimate, or run off for "an amazing weekend, " with someone I just met. Those things deserve the respect and honor of a serious relationship.
