Basic Information
| Self Description | | An active and motivated individual. Currently a graduate student about to finish a degree in Biblical Counseling. I could be moving geographically in the near future but will stay within the state of Missouri. I live in Hannibal, Missouri in a duplex that I am restoring. An older, no old house, 150 years in the historic district with a great view of the river from the upper story. I love doing home remodel jobs and have been self employed for a large part of my life as a painter and paperhanger. I am currently job transitioning. I have also worked for the state for a number of years. I love making postive contributions to other peoples lives. We are here to give God glory and to benefit other members of the body of Christ as well as treat all men as we would want to be treated. I enjoy walking, hiking, bicycling, and music. I also enjoy vegetable gardening and some landscaping. Good conversation over tea is hard to beat. I am by no means a couch potato and seldom if ever watch TV but I do enjoy an occasional movie. I feel it is very important to have many mutually enjoyed activities. An honest open relationship is of utmost importance and crucial to any long lasting compatable union. I believe in prayer and the power it gives to a believers life and the unity that it can bring. When there is mutual agreement there is a spiritual union that cannot be broken. I have a high level of commitment though at times I am very self centered. It is hard to stay crucified. I enjoy humor but also sobriety. I realize the importance of my relationship with Christ and other believers I also believe a marriage union can be the most holy and blessed partnership. I work hard and play hard or at least enjoy physical exertion. I have many scriptural favorites but I believe 2 Timothy 3:16 is one to keep in mind. All scripture is good and useful, paraphrase. I am an avid reader and enjoy writing a little. God has blessed my life in many ways and I want to simply live in a way that reflects my appreciation and humble submission. |
