| Self Description | | I just turned 68 but I must say that I am holding up much better than I thought. I exercise and I stay in the "ZONE" diet. I am back to my high school weight and holding for nearly 3 years. The "ZONE" with exercise really works. I am still toned and athletic and adventuresome. Am I stll 18? My body still thinks so.
I am retired from computers and home building. I graduated from the Univ. of Texas in 1963 with a B.A. in math, English, and physics. I worked on guided missiles and I helped put a man on the moon at the Space Center in Houston. I have been divorced for too many years(my youthful folly) and have 2 wonderful daughters. I am a full time camper spending the summer near Aspen, Co. For two summers I was a campground host.
God said, "the heavens are my tabernacle and the earth is my footstool". I had a religious experience on my first camping trip to the Rockies. I received a very real vision of paradise which I enjoy until this day. Today we may seek paradise in the Kingdom of God. God's creation has never been the same since 1969. I still smile when I behold a "lily of the field".
I have been active in church building and community. I was in the Charismatic movement in the 70's. Finally, at this young age I am agreeing with God's word, "it is not good for man to be alone". I go to hills to meditate and I have nearly finished a book of my own Christian experience. I believe that Adam and Eve had everything except a good camper. Is anyone free to explore? |
