| Self Description | | I enjoy and appreciate the simple of life itself - I try to keep everything simple. I enjoy movies, nothing gory please, walks along the beach, watching the sunset, day trips such as a visit to the Mystic Seaport. To be frank, I have been overly involved with job in human services working alongside the mentally impaired, but now it is a whole ball game. It is time for me to smell the roses, and by the way I am a Yankees fan. My keen professional interests are in learning more about individuals are in recovery from the affects of alcolhol and drug addictions and turning their lives over to Jesus. In the fall I shall head on back to college to try my hand in writing. How about me as a person? Who am I? Boy that is a tough one. I am a non-drinker who smokes a pipe. I suppose that makes me a Sherlock Homes, eh? Now lets see - I suppose I have a sense of dry wit about me. I never heard of a wet wit have you? Now I have been told by my boss and friend, James, "You're a good man Charlie Brown". Humm, personally I can't stand poor Charle Brown. Why so? Well he to me always seem to downcast on life situations. As a kid I like Bugs Bunny.
For years on end I have been working so hard with the disabled that I have neglected to loosen up and to enjoy the beauty of life. Yo, an idea just clicked in my head - an amusement park would be a fun place for visit for a day.
I live in the country where I do tons of reading and writing on my second floor deck smoking my pipe. Buta pipe can't talk and I miss the daily routine of discussion of whatever. Sorry but music is not my cup of tea. Opps, my mistake, I like soft, gentle music. It is written someplace that music calms the beast, but I don't think it does. No I am not King Kong, but I do have a way with words, don't I.
Now, how shall I end this? A question indeed. How about this, take it one step at a time a day at a time. I look forward to seeing your smiling face. |
