| Self Description | | I am twenty three years and have had a personal relationship with Christ for almost eight years. I remember the first church service I attented at my church and it was about four months later that I fully accepted Christ. I attend Fellowship church here in Grand Junction and have grown with the church, it is quite a large church and one can often find themselves lost within the croud. I worked at my church for about two years before God said it was time to move on. After that I went on the work with foster children and biological parents as a behavioral modifier, (helping kids become more confidant and helping parents become better parents). I loved this job however as you might guess it can cause a bit of a strain on ones life being on call 24-7. Last year I started working for the school district working with children that suffer from autisum. I have never been married although I almost got engaged once. I have no children BUT, I am proud godfather to two great kids, boy 16 and girl 17. Yes, of course they have names but you can't get them without talking to me first.:) I started attending Mesa this year to complete my degree, or should I say, restart my degree. See before I was going to be a doctor but now that God has told me to become a pastor I think that I should listen, don't you? I have to admit that sitting here trying to tell you the reader who I am and what I like to do is very difficult. I like just about anything, I love to go to the movies and have recently discovered that I enjoy ice skating. (have not fallen yet)
I have been a homebody for about the last year and I think that I am ready to go out and have fun. I don't like the bars and drink very little, if at all. In fact the last drink I had was July of 06 at a friends wedding, one glass of wine to toast. I don't smoke and I have never done drugs of any kind. I don't hold it aginst anyone if they have done drugs, the question is have you learned from it and are you still doing them. I made mistakes when I was younger, and I learned from them. On the subject of sex, yes I like it, but the next person I will be with is my wife on our wedding night.
Something that I am sure you ladies know about us boys is that we like those surerhero movies. I am indeed one of those boys. HOWEVER iI don't go around acting like Spider Man and you will never see me in a costume of Super Man. (unless of course I am at school and it makes the kids laugh)
Point is I am not a wierd o, I'm not perfect and I'm not sure what God has in store for me, so if you would like to jump on the road and see where it leads to, be my guest. I am always looking for a new friend and one day that friend might become my wife.

After the movie we would find something that was open to have ice cream or a soda just so I could spend that last little amount of time with her. I would drive her home, walk her to the door give her a hug and a slight kiss on the cheek, (I would wait to kiss her on the lips because why rush a good thing) and tell her goodnight. She would call me later and we would talk til 7 in the morning and plan our next date. (Okay maybe that last part is open for discussion.) |
