| Self Description | | Friends would describe me as outgoing, witty, and smart. I've been accused of being brutally honest and am very straight forward. I despise games and politics. Integrity, sincerity, and the courage to be honest no matter the cost are characteristics which are very important to me. I love to travel especially to places I've never been before. I have two incredible teen-age daughters who have taught me more about love and life than I could ever teach them. I've recognized that life is incredibly short and that each day is a gift. I love sunsets and anything outdoors. I love to go out but I also enjoy staying home too. Reading, cooking, watching movies and sports (my favorites are heavy-weight boxing, professional football, and as a UNC-CH alumni, of course ACC basketball), and anything outdoors are my favorite hobbies. I love to swim, walk, hike and have always wanted to try sky diving. I'm very strong because I've had to be but I love having doors opened for me and being treated like a lady. Though I love the way I look in jeans and a tee-shirt, I love to get dressed up for a nice evening out. I think laughter and music are two of God's greatest creations. I love all types of music but rock-n-roll (real rock-n-roll - I'm a huge Rolling Stones fan) and blues are my favorites. My philosophy for life is that old Golden Rule that you learned in Sunday School and I genuinely try to apply that rule to all of my interactions. I think good manners are a dying art and I believe in being polite at all cost as well as treating everyone well. Chemistry is very important in a relationship as well as mutual respect. |
