| Self Description | | My name is Mark and I'm 6 feet tall, 175 pounds (with Athletic build in process), with hazel eyes, dark hair, and mustache.
I was born and raised near Seattle, graduated from the University of Washington, worked in Texas for Continental Airlines, became a commercial property manager in Arizona, and later worked for US West in their marketing department and am now a Web Concierge for a major home development company, while learning the mortgage consultant business.
I have adopted the saying Dare to Soar: your attitude almost always determines your altitude in life. As I used to fly sailplanes and pilot a small airplane, I know what it is to soar like an eagle. I experienced this same awesome feeling of accomplishment when I climbed a mountain, ran a marathon, skied on a racing team, and lived in a foregin country for awhile - all part of my glory days and treasured memories.
As a Born Again Christian I am constantly challenged and motivated to be the best that I can be with each new day. Despite the fact that some days our diamonds and some days are stones, I derive a great deal of satisfaction when I can get up early each morning and work out at the gym, attend Toastmasters to overcome my personal fear of public speaking, strive to set a high professional standard and work ethic at my place of employment, contibute to ministries, build new friendships, and simply strive to live life to it's fullest.
My latest endeavor - I am trying to squeeze in dance lessons to learn ballroom, country-western, and Salsa dancing - it's a work in progress when time and finances permit (I'm looking for a partner - could it be you).
In the past (when time permitted) I have enjoyed tennis, golfing, water-skiing, horseback riding, boating/sailing, gardening, bike riding, hiking, travelling, etc. - you name it, I'll try it.
I want you to know that I'm a hard worker, outgoing, very personable, passionate, sensitive, compassionate towards other people, upbeat and positive, a romantic by nature, motivated, and energized to do whatever it takes.
I've never been married and am looking for that special lady who might have some pre-teen kids that need a Dad. Did I tell you that I love kids (I've been a surrogate Dad), I also cook and give great back and foot massages.
