Basic Information
| Self Description | | I have recently lost 90+ lbs & had a little work done on myself. I plan to eventually have more done as I can afford it. It is not about vanity to me but about finding the real me that hid under years of fat.
I am divorced & was totally blind-sided when the ex informed me that forever was only 7 1/5 years. I have a wonderful 13-yr-old son that is my world. He has been my sunshine for my many dark days.
I have never been atheletic, but I do enjoy outdoor stuff like camping & I LOVE to fish!!! I have been known to go fishing by myself.
I am looking to find a man that will see the quality of a woman that I am & will treat me like I am special - without going overboard. Very important! As I said before, my son is my world so we are a package deal. Along with that package, we have dogs that are like family members to us. My son LOVES the outdoors & just about every animal out there. If it were up to him we would have a much bigger zoo.
I am a simple woman that doesn't believe in games - so if you are into games, take a hike! Also, if you are one to lose your temper & believe that violence is the answer then you should look elsewhere. I am somewhat outspoken, but not to excess. I just believe that a person should be honest & open to an extent.
I do not own flashy stuff. I spend more money on my son & my family than I do myself. I can generally be found in jeans, a nice shirt & tennis shoes, but I can clean up nice as well.
I love just about any type of food - some of my favorites are shellfish, Mexican, Italian & Chinese.
I like to watch football, but I am not fanatical about it. I love watching my son play sports & I do get into that.
I love to travel & have lived in Europe & Guam. My future will include travel to other countries & states that I have never traveled.
I have this magnet when it comes to people. People talk to me all the time about stuff they wouldn't normally tell other people. My grandmother used to say that I have never met a stranger. I am comfortable in just about any social situation.
Lastly, I do work & would like to advance in my career (very important). I have also recently gotten my Bachelor's Degree which I am very proud of (it took me forever because I had to change universities so many times - due to the moves).

| Our First Date | | It would have to begin with something to include my son, like the movies or the zoo or an amusement park. And then, we would continue our date somewhere that we could talk & get to know one another - dancing is ok. I would love to be wined & dined in a classy place (I have never been to a really classy place). Surfing or Water Skiing sounds fun too. |
| Always Wanted To Try | | I would love to go to one of those Safari-type places that you can drive through. I would also love to go to Disneyland/world. I have NEVER been & have always wanted to go. It would be the ultimate to go on a cruise or maybe deepsea fishing (I have never gotten to do either of those). I would love to own my own "tavern." I would love to go up in a hotair balloon. I want to learn to play piano/guitar/harmonica. I would love to go to a Cowboys game or even an Ice Hockey game. I might be persuaded to go skydiving, but not bungee jumping. I would love to drive a real race car on a track. Scuba diving might be tons of fun if we don't see "Jaws." |
