| Self Description | | I like to laugh, I wake up excited to see what God's going to do each day. I write, read, I like woodworking and house remodeling, I love sunshine. But most of all I love Jesus. My relationship with Him defines me. I haven't dated for over twenty years, I've had one serious relationship that ended in divorce, we were unequally yoked. I'm pretty, I'm nice, and I would like to someday meet the man God has for me. I like bible studies, and always have one going. I work as a nurse, but my writing is a ministry, not a hobby, and one of my goals is to do it full-time within five years. I have two children, I love kids but I can't have any more of my own. They are 16 and 10 and sweet. I love people, especially God's people, but I like some occasional alone time as well. My soul mate would be comfortable with himself, and would have interests and hobbies of his own. I don't feel the need to fill every quiet moment with chatter, but I like to talk, and to listen. I especially like to hear stories about what God is doing in the lives of the people I meet. We all have a story, about His glory, like the Matthew West Song, "Next thing you know, " What's your story?
I love Contemporary Christian Music and going to concerts. Time, quality time with my God, my kids, my friends, my family, and hopefully with a special man, will always be more important to me than money.
I've been blessed with low maintenance good looks, I can be ready to go just about anywhere in 30 minutes or less. I prefer jeans, but I have some flair, even in jeans. I can dress up if need be, but I prefer comfort, to fashion. I've never been one to hang out at the mall. I only like shopping if I really need to do so. I like being on time but I don't have a cow if someone is a few minutes late for something. I've traveled some and even lived out of the country for a couple of years, but I've never been out west in this country, I'd like to go someday. I like camping, hiking, casual bike rides, walking. I don't enjoy TV, and hardly ever watch, when I do it's HGTV.
I prefer watching a sunset, or the waves roll in to reading, I prefer reading to watching a good movie, I prefer watching a good movie to weeding the flower beds, I prefer weeding the flower beds to watching TV. My kids think I'm funny. They've been known to snort cereal milk out their noses at the breakfast table at something I've said. Life is for living, I want to leave a legacy. I live rather than watch. And I have been content as a single person, I've learned to be myself, the woman God designed me to be. I live to please Him, and I want to be with a man that wants that too. Blessings. |
