| Self Description | | Hello! Do you love Big Ten Basketball--especially IU? Do you get into old movies and golden oldies? Are you a sucker for any dog that licks your hand? I love 'em all! I'm a single Christian woman, who takes her faith very seriously, but herself much less so. I'm very active in my congregation, and work hard at my job in an agency. I'd love to do a lot more on the weekends, but simply haven't met too many my age who are into the theatre, local sports, live music, and all kinds of other stuff. The hard part for me is keeping tabs on my mom, who has dementia but is still high functioning. I've learned to pray lots, keep a sense of humor, and choose my battles carefully. After all, some hills just aren't worth dying on. I'd love to hear from you if you share interests and/or have experienced caring for an aging parent. Thanks! |
