| Self Description | | I am a high school English teacher and love what I do . . . I view my students as my second family . . . I am an "outside the box" kind of teacher. I believe that education and life go hand in hand. For instance, instead of writing about Shakespeare (and we do) I also will often play a cd such as Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying" then have the class write an essay entitled, "What If You Were Dying" and of course they would do things a little differently and I respond with "why wait" . . be nicer now, etc. I have a lot of energy as proven by my being the high school cheerleader coach and I love that as much as I love teaching.
I have three grown children and five grandchildren and my family is very important to me but I miss that closeness that only a personal relationship can supply . . . that warmth and trust . . . honesty and trust is important . . . without that there is nothing . . .
My favorite t.v. show is Grey's Anatomy and I think Joel Osteen is the greatest!!! motivates me to be a better person every Sunday . . .
I am 5'2" and have dark blonde/light brown hair and brown eyes . . .
I believe in living for the moment for we have no guarantee about tomorrow . . .
Again, the word trust . . . |
