| Self Description | | I am 65 years young, a Mom of 3 and Grandmom of 8. Divorced and living with my 86 y/o Mom who has Alzheimers. We both have pets that we adore and we really have a great time. Shes a terrific lady.
I love to garden, but in an apartment, thats limited to a couple of small spots and potted gardens. I enjoy sewing, painting, and tv. I've put on some weight due to medications and a health issue that keeps me from working out like I use to. However, I am still a smart dresser, and I know how to purchase my wardrobe. My ex and I was involved in a family business, a ladies dept store. I am also trained as a makeup artist, and I know how to use it to present a natural look. I've been told by lots of people that I don't look my age, and that my complexion is equal to a twenty year old. Whatever the compliment, I take it as that...just a compliment...the real beauty is on the inside. I am a Catholic Christian, honest, kind and loyal to my friends and family. I love dining out, just riding in the country, enjoying my pets, a yorkie, and two cats. I adore animals of any kind...growing up on a farm in SW Mississippi made me appreciate all of God's creatures, wild and domesticated. I would like to find someone that is looking for a gentle friend to "hang out" with and just do those little "nothing special" things that are very Special indeed. Holding hands while watching a good movie, someone to talk to on the phone and email. Someone whos honest, kind, and not sex crazy. There is a time and a place for everything, but starting with a good friendship is an important way to begin a good relationship. I feel that two people have to earn respect from each other, and to be able to give and take, not thinking only of yourself. I keep wondering if there is a man out there that can be that sweet, well mannered partner without any financial baggage...someone who will be willing to attend Church with me some times, visit with grandchildren, and really get to know each other. |

| Always Wanted To Try | | I've always wanted to buy a few acres with a small, easily maintained home that I could decorate and landscape myself (with someone to help me, of course). Build a small barn with a tack room, for a horse or two. Cross fence the acres so I could have a few goats just for a hobbie, maybe a miniature horse, a donkey, or a couple of ducks. A garden spot would be nice as would some fruit trees. I'm a country girl at heart I suppose. I've also wanted to relocate to the western mountains of North Carolina. Oh, I have a lot of pipe dreams! LOL |

| Goal In Life | | Is to take care of my Mom til shes gone, and to enjoy my children and their children, and live as I think God would want me to live. Honestly, treating others with love and kindness and being the friend that I would like others to be to me. I never like to hurt anyone and if I do, its never deliberate. My ex is bedridden with Multiple Sclerosis and as bad as he treated me with a young woman who was a dope addict and convict, I wish and pray for him that he will suffer as little as possible between now and the end of his life. He was just an ordinary man that was married to me for almost 40 years before he just went middle aged crazy for a few years. I am happy that we have finally become friends and help each other as much as we can. He would not, however, stand in the way if I met another gentlemen that I cared about.
