| Self Description | | What really determines one's "net-worth"? My viewpoint is that it isn't in the number of dollars you've accumulated as much asit is in life's experiences and what you've learned by having experienced it. Whether it be of a personal nature or on a professional level. Personally, greatest of all my accomplishments have been that of being a wife and a MOM. I bear and have borne those titles with great pride. The only "hat" left for me to wear is that of being a GrandMom!
There a few things that I really enjoy--other than family, friends. I'm a music lover---most anything except rap. Can't really say that I'm particularly fond of that so much. Humor can be found in almost any situation--you may have to look a little closer to find it, but I'm sure it's there. Most anybody that "really" knows me would tell you that I'm a passionate person--driven by compassion. Personally, I don't think that you can separate the two. I could be wrong; but, that's the way I perceive it.
One of my favorite passtimes is getting in my car, riding with my top down if it's warm enough, my tunes going full blast and being awed by nature's beauty. Fall and Spring is wonderful in the mountains. Winter isn't too bad but it makes travel a little more difficult. Doesn't stop me from seeing the beauty around me. I need only look out my windows. Deer on parade, squirrels scampering about, the occasional opossum traversing in front of me, turkeys, birds---I LOVE IT! We could learn a lot from the animals--especially my little Maltese, Ollie. He's good for all of about 8 lbs. of nothing but pure, unconditional love.
