| Self Description | | It is very hard for me to describe myself here...hmmm...I am fun-loving, honest, hard-working, loyal, and wondering why I am doing this again...lol. I love being around and helping people. I enjoy all kinds of activities and am comfortable in any kind of situation and am up for anything that comes my way. I love to sing, dance, anjoy all kinds of sports and outdoor activities, but also like to spend quiet nights at home. I used to be a full time paid paramedic until circumstances that were beyond my control made it impossiblefor me to continue to pursue my career choice. I now work with the developmentally disabled. I work hours that do not make it feasible for me to date it the conventional manner so I need to do the online thing.
I am very family oriented, my family means everything to me. I have no children of my own, but that does not mean that some day down the road I would not be open to the possibility. I love kids and they tend to love me. The only "child" in my life is my cat Zoey, she's enough for me right now.
I love to cook and am told that I do it VERY well. I have a degree in Culinary Arts and some day if the Good Lord is willing and finances allow I would love to open my own restaurant. Until that day arrives I will just practice on my friends, family, and that one special person that I find in my life.
I am a voracious reader and will read practically anything I can get my hands on. I love to do word puzzles of any kind. I believe it keeps my mind working and keeps me sharp. I also love all kinds of music except hip-hop, rap and heavy metal. I really enjoy watching pretty much any kind of movie too except really gory horror flicks. Live music concerts, especially in the summer under the stars are very enjoyable for me, and I go as much as I can to SPAC in the summer.
I try as hard as I can to liven up the place, wherever I go. If you ask my family or friends to describe me, the first words they use are funny, and then they describe my sense of humor. I tend sometimes to be sarcastic, but I don't really do it to be mean, I use it to lighten up the mood, especially when it is tense.
Well, I guess it wasn't so hard to describe myself...lol. |
