Basic Information
| Self Description | | I am an honest, kind, caring, loyal and true person. I believe in love, even though I've been through some heavy thundershowers. However, with every rainbow we catch, we must also experience the rain as well as the sunshine. I would like to meet someone in my age group who is willing to become friends first before any romantic involvement takes place. I believe that it takes time to trust...especially when your heart has been broken or bruised. I do know that God is the ultimate healer of all of our hearts and He knows just what we need.
I like to work around my house, both inside and outside. Love to plant flower gardens and watch them bloom during the summer. I also like to play/spend time with my dogs; Maxi, who is a mini-Schnauzer, and Rudy, a Standard sized Dachshund, who I look at as my "fur-babies." I never had any children of my own, so my dog-buds are like my kids. So whoever comes into my life, they will have to be a "dog person" too (LOL).
I also like to ride my mountain bike and take walks in and around my neighborhood, as well as exploring various parks in the area.
I like to watch movies, mainly documentaries and history type movies. However, I do like to watch good, clean comedy movies that produce good belly laughs, which, I believe, are good for the soul. I also like to dine out at moderate and clean restaurants, as well as watching live theatre productions.
I also like to dance and like old time rock-n-roll, country, some jazz, easy listening, classical and some blues type music.
I tend to be a crafty, artsy type gal, who likes to do various craft/needle projects from time to time. I also am an avid reader of mainly non-fiction and spiritual type books, but also like to thumb through different magazines as well--i.e., Readers Digest, Business Week, Ladies Home Journal would be the most popular magazines that I peruse.
There are other aspects to my personality and I will discuss with the person who I eventually meet and whether we establish a meaningful relationship. So until then, thank you for reading this brief description of me, and if it sounds appealing to you...well I'll just have to leave that up to you and our Creator.
