| Self Description | | I am a conservative Baptist. I have either dark blonde or light brown hair. My weight is about 265 lbs. I am 24 years old. I live in the small town of Starbuck, MN which is about 30 minutes S.W. of Alexandria, MN or 1 1/2 hours W of St. Cloud, MN. I currently am attending classes at Minnesota State University - Moorhead. I attend regular church services at First Baptist Church of Alexandria, although I am not a member as of yet. My interests are God and all things Biblical, books, sports, fishing (especially ice fishing catch and release), poker (not gambling, but just for fun with friends), and family. I am a recovering alcholoc, so I do not drink. PERIOD. Also, I have recently quit smoking. I was born-again on the 5th of February, 2005 after having suffered a horremdous auto crash on the 20th of Jan. of that same year, which was not alcohol-related (to my amazement).
That is only the first half of why I became a Christian. Before my moment of atonement on Feb. 5th, I had been informed that my favorite uncle passed on to Jesus. I wanted to see him again. I now knew what my other friends from Fargo Baptist Church of Fargo, N.D. meant when they said "you must repent and be born again." That day changed my life. Now, it is my earnest hope through prayer that God will allow me to share my new life with someone special like you. |
