| Self Description | | Being in the good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God is the hardest & scariest place I've ever been. Sometimes, I'm not even sure that I really know what that means anymore. I always dreamed of having husband who loves God as much as I do. I have to be honest here & it may be the end of this story. I do not beleive in divorce & re-marriage. I am just looking for someone to talk to I guess. I met my ex-husband when I was in the USAF. We were married for 20 years. He retired from the USMC in 1996. I became a Christian in Feb. 2007. The day he left, he told me that he had been living a lie since we had retired & he didn't want anything to do with God, church, or anyone who did! Learning to live on my own again after 20 years is probably the hardest thing I've ever done. But I know the grace of God will bring me thru if I will just submit my self to Him. I guess my favorite verse in the Bible is Romans 12:1-2. He has given me so much more than I deserve & don't want to disappoint Him. So, I've said all that just to say, I don't think I would ever date agian, I just wish sometimes I knew there was someone out there who cared enough to encourage me to keep going on for the Lord. |

| Idea Of Fun | | I don't how to do this...I can't believe I'm even trying it...but my biggest desire, since my salvation, was to have the "head of the home" to lead in daily Bible Study & prayer. I don't expect to ever date again and most of the time, I'm ok with that. I truly believe that all things work together for my good & God's glory--but I must be willing to submit to Him in ALL things. I believe that we are to set apart, hungering & thirsting for righteousness & holiness. Seeking to know & live in His good, and acceptable, and perfect will. I have not had to work for the last 15 years & now I have been forced to go back into the work force. I am 47 & I work for a 34 year old woman. Some days I just wish I knew that there was someone out there who cared enough to listen with a true heart & love of God in them enough to tell me to keep pressing on to heaven.
