| Self Description | | I am, at present, head-long into seeking out Christ's purpose for my life. It's a beautiful journey, fraught with many spiritual perils, but I've run from the Spirit long enough to know that when you turn around, there He is.
I own a theatre company (you have to make your own opportunities). And, no, it's not my day job (are you kidding! Who can live on $100/month?) I enjoy studying philosophy, sociology, science, and theology. I also love to be outdoors or (quite the opposite) watching movies!
I play guitar and sing.
I love The Alan Parsons Project, David Arkenstone, Oingo Boingo, Amy Grant, some techno-music. My music collection is extremely eclectic.
I am in the center of studying God's grace. I was brought up in the Church of Christ and, honestly, growing up I think I heard ONE lesson on grace. No longer aligning myself with that branch of service, I am looking for what God's church looks like. You know what I'm finding? It looks like every one of us! Yes! I was so surprised! See, the church I grew up in was VERY judgmental with NO room for error. No kidding. Yes, there was love. But love without grace is a very limiting expression.
I'm divorced with two children. Girls. Ages 7 and 2. They live their mom. Two of the biggest hearts you'll ever meet!
So, that's where most people will probably stop reading:) That's ok. I know that God has a heart beating in time with mine somewhere.
I'm looking for a woman who is pure, genuine - a woman who has the strength to speak her mind because the Holy Spirit has endowed her with that freedom. Freedom! What a beautiful state for the soul!
My heart is open and I thrive on communication (I know...I'm a guy! Now, there WAS a time when I didn't communicate. But I'm over that) Maybe it's safer to say that I strive for articulation. Ya, that works better.
Communication IS extreme in the sport of importance. So I'm working on that. Men have it rough. We're not often given the best role models as children. I can be tough, but I AM affectionate. Actually my two love languages are touch and words of affirmation.
