I moved to AZ 12 years ago from ND, this was a huge leap of faith God's hand has been all over. Even though I am thousands of miles away from my family, there is no question that it was He who moved me here. It may seem strange to some but the relationship I have with my parents is so much stronger because of the distance. It is hard to be away from my niece and nephews though.
I love the outdoors, although in AZ it's hard in the summer time. I like to hike, swim, play football and volleyball, and love to camp.
Singing is a passion of mine, whether it is singing at church or in the car. I have been in the choir at church but have step out of that ministry for a while to see where it is that God's wants me next.
I have a heart for the nations of the world. I have only been on one short-term missions trip to an orphanage in Nicaragua but would love to go on many more. I have been on many prayer teams for friends that have been on long-term trips. I have learned so much and grew so much in those times.
This past year I made the choice to become healthier person for no one else but me. I have begun to eat healthier and exercise regularly. I have lost quite a bit of weight and only a little more to go. Yes, I look better, but I feel so much better. |
