| Self Description | | A little bit about me: I grew up overseas as an MK and am loving living in the US again. I've been a Christian my whole life, but I haven't been challenged until I went to college. God's taught me so much about faith, goals in life, trust, prayer, and decisions. It's amazing how faithful He has been through the years.
I"m currently working as a marine engineer and work on ships as a glorified mechanic. I get paid to travel around the world and wouldn't trade the experiences I've had for anything. I love my job and am so thankful for the opportunities God has given me.
I have a real laid back personality and it really takes a lot to get me flustered. I love to live life to the fullest. I enjoy outdoor activies (hiking, backpacking, camping, rock climbing...). Volleyball and basketball are my two favorite sports to play.
Things I will do before I'm 30: work on a ranch, spend a winter skiing in Vail or Aspen, go skydiving, get my private pilots license, scuba dive at the great barrier reef, backpack through Thailand, go bungie jumping in New Zealand, spend a year with the Mercy Ships.
I prefer to spend my free time doing things outside of the house. It doesn't really matter what season it is, there is always something to do: skiing, snowboarding, bike riding, road tripping, cow tipping, sunset watching, etc. I can't understand how some guys can spend all day inside playing computer games... it's just not how I roll.
These online dating arrangements will start as a "pen pal" style friendship. I'd love for things to progress further than that if possible. I'm interested in a woman of God that knows what she belives and why, both spiritually and with life in genera. Someone that is interested in working in missions somehow and can handle adjustments when things in life don't go so well.
I put God at the top of my list and He means so much to me. It's definitely a friendship and not a religion for me. I genuinely try and make sure that I follow Christ every day of the week and not just on Sunday. |
