I recently moved to Tampa area. I lived in Mississippi and Chicago as a kid. Moved from Michigan to Tampa. So basically moved from a state that has winter 6 months out of the year to a state that has summer 6 months out of the year.  I am a nurse and nursing professor. I tried to retire BUT I love to teach so I went back to parttime nursing education.  I think because I am a nurse with a background in Hospice to Cardiovascular ICU I see the world in different sometimes dark humor (Gary Larson).. I am a devoted Christian, so Jesus is a priority. I attend church every week. If this is not something you find important, we would not be compatible.  I am a Lutheran Parish nurse.

I have a Doctorate. My first degree is from OLE MISS. I love the  water.  I  travel with a team to work in Medical Missions in the summer to Eastern Europe.
I do not like Drama. I do not punch you in the face with my ideas in politics. I like to read. I consider myself a life long learner.
I have a black German Shepard. I am widowed. Looking for a friend first and then to see where it goes from there. Being a friend is also good. Making new friends is good for life. At least I have widened my circle.
