I moved to Portland about 8 months ago, but I'm fairly acclimated to life in PDX and sometimes scoff at newbies with their silly umbrellas. Haha. I'm 100% Christian and devoted to God, looking for the same. I have a lot of compassion for hurting people, and have found that I feel most alive when I'm doing missionary work overseas or on my home turf. I believe in second chances, I believe in hope, and I believe that looking for that special person is a lot easier when we don't put a lot of stringent demands on them. So, I'm looking for someone who puts God above everything else, who is willing to give 100% in a relationship just like I am. I won't dictate hair color or body type, salary or education, pets or politics, and I hope for the same grace in return. We're all just people, and no one is perfect! :) Except you-know-who

Goal in life: Stay in God's will, learn more about his true character, and be the best mini-Jesus I can be. Also, I think it's important to figure out how to always be able to cast our burdens on the Lord so that we can really enjoy life for what it is and isn't.

Fun is a bonfire on the beach, or waking up in a tent with the light peeking through the thin taut canvas. Fun is exploring an abandoned house out in the country or going for a long walk down the train tracks as the sun sets in the warm summer sky. Fun, as I call it, is strolling downtown on a Saturday night and watching the people walk by, each one a book I get to skim through in a matter of seconds. I could go on and on...but I think you get the idea :)

Hvad leder du efter?

Looking for someone who is committed to God. Someone who perhaps mirrors some of my attributes, but not necessarily. The key thing is a core relationship with God. We all struggle with our faith walk at times, and Lord knows none of us are perfect. I'm not looking for perfection, but I am hoping to find someone who's committed to a life of seeking God.
